Announcements

We're proud to share that AssistIQ was recently named to the CB Insights Digital Health 50 — the annual data-driven list recognizing the world's highest-potential private companies in digital health.

This is the seventh year CB Insights has published the list, selecting 50 companies from a pool of more than 12,000 based on deal activity, partnerships, leadership strength, hiring momentum, investor quality, and their proprietary Mosaic score.

Being recognized alongside companies redefining clinical intelligence, care delivery, and healthcare operations is an honor and a reflection of what our partners and team have built together.

The OR documentation problem is getting harder to ignore

CB Insights highlighted two forces driving the need for tools like AssistIQ: provider burnout and the growing role of AI in healthcare operations. Physician burnout costs the US healthcare system an estimated $4.6 billion annually, contributing to workforce shortages across 31 of 35 physician specialties. In the OR specifically, that pressure shows up as documentation burden — nurses and techs pulled away from patient care to manually track supplies and implants that should be captured automatically.

AssistIQ was recognized specifically for reducing the time OR staff spend locating and recording surgical supplies — a workflow problem that has direct consequences for clinical teams, supply chain, and the bottom line.

47 of 50 companies on this list are building with AI

The CB Insights report noted that 47 of 2025’s 50 companies are developing AI solutions, up from 36 in 2024. The trend isn't just more AI — it's AI purpose-built for healthcare's specific demands: compliance, data integrity, workflow fit, and clinical trust.

That's exactly the standard we hold ourselves to. AssistIQ's computer vision captures every supply, implant, and tissue used in the OR and procedural areas — automatically, without barcodes — and flows that data directly into EHRs and ERPs after clinician verification. The result is near-perfect capture accuracy, reduced waste, recovered revenue, and clinical teams who can spend more time on patient care and less time on manual documentation.

Our health system partners built this with us. The recognition reflects that.

This recognition belongs as much to the health systems we work with as it does to our team. The results that put AssistIQ on this list — 99% supply capture accuracy, significant reductions in expired product waste, millions in recovered revenue — were generated alongside the nurses, supply chain leaders, OR directors, and finance teams who trusted us to solve a real problem in their facilities.

We're grateful for that partnership, and we're just getting started.

AssistIQ was recognized in the Administrative Operations category alongside companies including 1m, Arbital Health, HealthEx, Infinitus Systems, and others.
